For 2012, we envisioned a Lecture Series that would allow us to touch larger sections of our community and highlight the diversity of information within our library. This new program, Off the Shelf, was born of the idea that, if it's on the shelf we can bring it to you. From Authors to Artists we are going to bring it to Boerne. Off the Shelf is a fundraising program to attract diverse groups of individuals and to the library while bringing in dollars that will benefit library programs and capital needs.
Keep your eyes open for our first event, planned for the fall of 2012.
Support the Author SeriesSupport for the Author Series can be in the form of underwriting, donations of food and beverage, or funds that can go towards either costs of food and beverage or general donations towards the continuation of this program. |
