Boerne Beat Meets September 14

June, 01 2010

Join Boerne’s only poetry.coffee.social club on Monday, September 14, at 9:15 a.m. where we will be reading the poetry of Allen Ginsberg.  Best known for the controversial poem, "Howl," which became a defining poem of the Beat Generation, Ginsberg poetry spoke to and of a generation. Ginsberg's own favorite poets ranged from Walt Whitman to Edgar Allen Poe and he counted Jack Kerouac and William Carlos Williams among both this peers and his major influences.  Stop by to share, to listen and to steep in the iconic poetry of the 20 century!
