Better Libraries Build Better Communities.

Our Patrick Heath Public Library is now open!!!!  Thanks to our community's involvement, our benefactors and the City of Boerne, our new library is complete and open for business.  Our official Capital Campaign ended on March 31, 2011 but there is still a need for ongoing capital investment.  The Boerne Public Library Foundation is committed to a partnership with our library to help fund these ongoing needs.  "When You Wish Upon a Star" will outline the equipment, programming and volunteer opportunities of the Patrick Heath Public Library. 

At present, we are aware of several equipment needs in our library:

Laptop computers

Display cases for our Archives

A new Microfiche Machine

Vidoe cameras

Interactive Panels for the Children's Area

In addition to these equipment needs, we are beginning our fundraising campaign for the outdoor spaces on the library grounds.  We are working to secure funding through grants, corporate donations and individual donations.  We are hoping to fund the following projects:

Amphitheater

Heritage Garden

Playground

Nature Walk

Bridge to wooded area
