The mission of the Boerne Public Library Foundation is to provide for programming for the Patrick Heath Public Library and ongoing capital expenditures. The Foundation is a 501(C)3, and is supported and managed by a local group of dedicated board members who value the democratic institution of libraries and the power of culture and literature in everday lives. None of this could be accomplished without our benefactors and the generosity of our community and we are grateful for all your support.

When You Wish Upon A Star
- Ongoing Program Support
The Boerne Public Library Foundation supports several programs currently and is looking to fund others. Our new library offers us the opportunity to consider programs that we weren't able to before. Currently, we support Live at the Library, The Boerne Beat Poetry Club, and The Black Stallion Literacy Program. In addition to these programs, we also manage our new Arts Endowment which will help to bring continued enrichment for our community through Art Exhibits in the Patrick Heath Public Library. | Our vision of a community gathering space in pursuit of ideas, enrichment and culture for all is now our new Patrick Heath Public Library. Better libraries build better communities. Our official Capital Campaign ended on March 31, 2011 and we are pleased that we were able to raise almost $2million towards the building of our new library. Now that the library is open, the need for further capital investment is still present. Laptops, a new Microfiche machine, vidoe cameras and a large projector are just some of the current needs of our library. - Moveable Feast Our Moveable Feast Series is a donor sponsored event that allows our community to celebrate literature through themed parties. We have supported three Moveable Feasts to date: The Lightening Theif, Julia Childs, and the Greatest Generation. Gifts of stock are always welcome, as are endowments or gift annuities. Please contact Ariel Brooks-Stevens for more information, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. It is always best to consult your financial advisor or attorney regarding these gifts as well. The library foundation is always seeking volunteers to assist with our mission.
